La 'Shawnta Jackson was born and raised in Southern California. She left for Texas in 1991 to serve in the U.S Air force. Having returned to March Air Force Base in 1992 for family, she trained as an X-ray technician. She served for 6 years and was honorably discharged.
In 1996, she started working as an X-ray tech/Mammographer for U.S. Family Care and Riverside Medical Clinic. During this time she earned a B.S. in Radiology from Loma Linda University.
In 1999, La 'Shawnta attended the Riverside County Regional Medical Center/Riverside Community College Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 2001 specializing in Family Medicine.
Although her past experience includes Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Orthopedics, Internal Medicine is where her career focus is currently directed.
She happily works with Dr. Stanford in his medical offices. |
